Tammy Griffis-Hanik is a board-certified nurse practitioner with special interest in rural health and family medicine. She believes in developing strong relationships in order to provide personalized care tailored to meet each patient's needs. Her background includes emergency medicine, dialysis, and medicated assisted treatment programs. Her clinical career took her on a journey through the healthcare system, from inpatient to outpatient settings, managing the care of everyone from toddlers to older adults.
She completed her BSN at Lewis University (Romeoville, IL) in 2006, and her MSN at Austin Peay State University (Clarksville, TN) in 2014. She has worked in a rural health setting. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, any type of outdoor activity.
